X-ray absorption fine structure (XAFS) is a useful tool, which is based on synchrotron radiation experimental facility, to give information of local structure in materials. Perovskite manganites is one of the interesting materials which show colossal magnetoresistance effect. This series of materials have been applied in magnetic storage device. In this lecture, the introduction to the synchrotron radiation, XAFS technique, and application of XAFS in perovskite manganites will be presented.

个人简介:

张红光,男,2010年获东南大学凝聚态物理学硕士学位,现为我系在读博士生(提前攻博)。2010年获东南大学优秀博士论文基金资助。2011年获得江苏省普通高校研究生科研创新计划资助。主要研究方向为钙钛矿锰氧化物的磁性性质及局域结构和电子结构的研究。目前在国际期刊上已发表SCI论文数篇,其中正式发表第一作者SCI论文3篇。
