摘  要:I will talk about two strategies in optical field manipulation associated with plasmonic structures. First, I will present several structures for optical polarization control, where polarization rotation and conversion are realized in an ultrathin scheme thanks to the plasmonic excitations. Moreover, a robust design based on the stereo-structure is proposed, which would not only give rise the arbitrary optical rotation but also lead to a SPP propagation conversion. Along with this topic, in the second part, I will introduce a newly developed in-plane diffraction method based on non-perfect Bragg diffractions, by which novel SPP Airy beam, broadband focusing and collimated beams are realized. The significant flexibility and controllability of this strategy will be discussed.

主讲人简介:李涛,男,1978年生。2005年博士毕业于南京大学物理系;2005-2007在南京大学固体微结构实验室从事博士后研究;2008应聘至南京大学材料科学与工程系(现属现代工程与应用科学学院),同年获副教授职称;2012年获南京大学首批“登峰人才支持计划”。目前研究兴趣是等离激元光子学、非线性光学、纳米光子与光电集成。先后访问过新加坡南洋理工大学、香港浸会大学、莫斯科州立大学。参加国际会议并做邀请报告十余次。主持多项自然科学基金,目前还主持一项国家重大研究计划课题。在Nano Lett.,Phys. Rev. Lett.,Phys. Rev.系列,Appl. Phys. Lett.,Opt. Express,Opt. Lett.等刊物发表论文60余篇,被引用800余次(H指数16),长期担任Appl. Phys. Lett.,Opt. Express,Opt. Lett.等多家国际知名刊物的审稿工作。
