Abstract：
In this talk I will talk about three models and related special functions as the partition function.
1. Superconformal field theories in 4d
2. Free scalars in even dimensions
3. Free scalars in odd dimensions
It turns out that the modularities of these conformal field theories are closely related to sets of special functions including multiple Sine functions and multiple elliptic Gamma functions. I will discuss their properties and applications in the conformal field theories related to the special functions, and possibly indications to black hole physics.
Bio:
雷扬，现为苏州大学物理科学与技术学院副教授。2011年本科毕业于北京大学，获物理学和数学双学位；2012年硕士毕业于英国杜伦大学；2016年博士毕业于英国杜伦大学，数学物理专业。2016年至2022年曾先后在中国科学院理论物理研究所、南非金山大学、丹麦哥本哈根大学尼尔斯玻尔研究所、中国科学院大学卡弗里理论科学研究所从事博士后研究工作。2022年8月入职苏州大学。其研究方向主要为黑洞物理。
