Welcome to visit Nano Functional Materials Laboratory

The Nano Functiaonal Materials Laboratory was established by Prof. Qingyu Xu in 2008.

Dr. Qingyu Xu is a full professor in Department of Physics, Southeast University, Nanjing, China. His current research interests include the fabrication, characterization, and application of functional materials in Micro- or Nano-scales.

The current main research areas are spintronics (the realization of ferromagnetism in semiconductors, two-dimensional materials, etc., multiferroic materials, and the related devices with the manipulation of charge and spin simutaneously), and green energy harvest and utilization (photocatalysis, lithium-ion battery, solar cell, etc.).

He has published more than 150 papers on high-impact journals, including PRL, PRB, APL, Scientific Reports, and receiving over 1200 citations with H-index of 20.
